CEDARS and Klinikum Stuttgart jointly participated at the exhibition “MedHealth & Wellness 2009” which took place from 19-21 October at Oman International Exhibition Centre in
Muscat.
Now more than ever, people worldwide are giving particular attention to their health and well-being, and this has created an ever-growing demand for all types of health products, medical services and alternative therapies as well as sports and fitness equipment. Here in the Middle East, the Sultanate of Oman is making huge investments in further improving the country’s health infrastructure and by encouraging the private sector to acquire the latest products and equipment that are now available in the market. The country’s residents are likewise sparing no expense when it comes to their health as they engage in medical tourism and choose modern medical services and the most advanced pharmaceutical and fitness products.
Many Omanis travel to Dubai for shopping and there is a culture of combining holidays with healthcare. Dubai is only four hours drive away and many patients feel more comfortable in the region than in Europe or South Asia. That’s why Cedars and its partner hospital from Stuttgart will increase marketing activities in neighboring countries once the hospital extension is ready.
